Wynne Lock

Research Assistant, Division of Mathematical Modeling, UBCCDC

Wynne Lock is a Research Assistant in the Division of Mathematical Modeling
at the University of British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (UBC CDC).
She completed her degrees, an undergraduate degree with a combined major in
Biochemistry and Chemistry and a master of Computer Science, at Dalhousie
University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Wynne provides research support to DMM
by editing project-related documents, facilitating the collection of data,
researching funding sources, conducting literature reviews, ensuring the
quality control of projects, and acting as a liaison between program staff
and collaborators. In addition, Wynne is responsible for the daily
administration of the division. Wynne’s research interest is in building
representative social contact networks to model epidemic disease spread.
